Also performing are two of the most amazing and talented people I have had the good fortune to cross paths with on my Journey. Phoebe Blue and Thomas Patrick Maguire. Their flames burn bright. The title of this show is based on the Dylan Thomas poem Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night. A reading of it will be performed by the also amazing Julie Haag. Another flame lighting the way through this good night. When you stick around this long you come to realize nothing is random, and paths cross at the most appropriate times. The Power of Music On the Frontiers of Change
We women have a lot of work ahead of us . . .
but let us not forget that, whatever our chosen endeavor
on the frontiers of change,
music is a force that augments all of our efforts.
Whether we are grassroots organizers, candidates for office,
or participating in civil disobedience . . .
when we connect with the power of song,
we may discover a renewed sense of power
residing deep within ourselves.
Music expands our vision and our reach.
When we sing we no longer feel alone.
I don't pretend to fully understand this blessed mysterious force . . .
but I know it's real. And it belongs to everyone.
-Sharleen

MUSIC, VIDEO ART, TALK: ZEITGEIST VISION
Another world is necessary, and there are clear visions to bring that change.
TONIGHT: Harry Cason (College of Staten Island) describes the ZEITGEIST vision ; Laurie Simons (filmmaker THE HEALTHCARE MOVIE) presents One Small Town and the Ubuntu philosophy of Michael Tellinger; video clips by Peter Joseph (Zeitgeist founder) ; and music performance by Stvjns Daughs

The ZEITGEIST Movement argues for a large-scale change in human culture, specifically in the context of economic practice. The dominant theme is that the current socioeconomic system that governs our world at this time has severe structural flaws born out of traditional economic and social assumptions which originated in our early history, and the inherent severity of these flaws have gone largely unnoticed.

Due to advances in science and technology, "... it is now highly feasible to take care of everybody on Earth at a higher standard of living than any have ever known."
