PARANORMAL OPEN MIC
Taking turns sharing our experiences of the paranormal sort, with a supporting audience of interested neighbors. Come and check it out and maybe share a story from some part of your life.
Ever meet a ghost, or had an out-of-body experience? Ever meet someone from another dimension, or visit an alternate reality? Telepathic experiences? Lucid dreams? Past life memories?
"They call it paranormal because it doesn't fit into the standard mainstream scientistic paradigm of what is 'Normal'. Rather than accept that we don't completely understand yet how our reality works, we have created a sort of intellectual ghetto to put evidence of our incomplete understanding, where they can be 'safely' ignored. We have named that ghetto the PARANORMAL" -SWJD

PARANORMAL BRAINSTORM OPEN MIC
Ever meet a ghost, or had an out-of-body experience? Ever meet someone from another dimension, or another world? Any significant telepathic experiences? Lucid dreams? Past life memories? Precognition? Come and tell your story, or just listen to others telling theirs. Share your thoughts in the discussions that happen. Fun! :-)
"They call it paranormal because it doesn't fit into the standard mainstream scientistic paradigm we have decided is NORMAL. Rather than accepting that we don't completely understand yet how our reality works, we have created a sort of intellectual ghetto to put these experiences in, where they can be 'safely' ignored. We have named that ghetto PARANORMAL"

Anitra Nelson will be live on our stage and Dancing Rabbit Ecovillage will be live via Skype on our big screen, with a Q & A session to follow.

Eco-collaborative housing covers different forms of sharing from joint/shared households, to sharing land, communes, cohousing, squats and ecovillages. Low impact living and low carbon housing are top of the list for housing futures. Sharing can be more affordable, more convivial and more sociable.

Now is the Time for Action!!
On Thursday, Sept 6, New Yorkers will gather to add our voices to national and global call for immediate, bold, effective approaches to Climate, Jobs, and Justice. On the eve of the Global Climate Action Summit in San Francisco, we will take to the streets demanding that our local elected officials move beyond the nice talk and take the steps we know are needed to confront the climate crisis. (Actions in CA, throughout the U.S. and around the world are happening on Sept. 8th, but we did not want to conflict with the NYC Labor Day Parade being held that day so we're hitting the streets on Sept. 6th!)

"FALSE FLAGS" : Teach-in about this powerful and long-relied-upon military deception technique, used globally for centuries for political expediency.

From Wikipedia: A false flag is a covert operation designed to deceive; the deception creates the appearance of a particular party, group, or nation being responsible for some activity, disguising the actual source of responsibility.

The term "false flag" originally referred to pirate ships that flew flags of countries as a disguise to prevent their victims from fleeing or preparing for battle. Sometimes the flag would remain and the blame for the attack be laid incorrectly on another country. The term today extends beyond naval encounters to include countries that organize attacks on themselves and make the attacks appear to be by enemy nations or terrorists, thus giving the nation that was supposedly attacked a pretext for domestic repression and foreign military aggression.

Operations carried out during peacetime by civilian organizations, as well as covert government agencies, can (by extension) also be called false flag operations if they seek to hide the real organization behind an operation.

7pm PEACE DAY - OPEN MIC - JOHN LENNON's birthday provides the basis for this evening of art, creativity and poetry, stories, what have you, imagining and defining the PEACE we are thankful for. PEACE is when people can do what they like, together. Without PEACE, we cannot cooperate on a garden or a building, or a music and poetry collaboration. Without PEACE we cannot build a bridge or a food co-op or a theater. You need PEACE to do that. WELCOME.

THE NEW OCCUPY MOVEMENT?
XR-The Extinction Rebellion
of UK; Yellow Jackets Movement of France; Sunrise Movement of USA, and more. The main-stream media (MSM) is doing their best to hide it, but these grass roots movements are alive and spreading fast across the world. What does it all mean? What's the #GREEN NEW DEAL?
Let's watch some short videos and talk about it.
Image from Video by Maia Kenworthy

EXTINCTION REBELLION [aka XR] in UK
"We will not be led quietly to annihilation by the elites and politicians. We will fight with honour, resilience, and peace, in the spirit of all those who fought for our freedoms before us. We call on everyone, regardless of your political beliefs to join us in fighting for the survival of our nation and for the survival of life on earth."    "We are Nature defending itself."
From an XR website:
GET INVOLVED wherever you are. There are XR talks, training sessions, socials, actions and local rebellions happening all over next week. All events here: https://bit.ly/2L5ObFB

#HumansofXR

YELLOW JACKETS MOVEMENT in France
"Recent polls indicate the majority of France now supports the protesters. And it’s only getting more popular. The Yellow Vests communicate almost entirely on small, decentralized Facebook pages. They coordinate via memes and viral videos. Whatever gets shared the most becomes part of their platform."

https://www.instagram.com/p/BrOXz4fhnil/

SUNRISE MOVEMENT in USA
" BREAKING: 143 young people have been arrested sitting in the offices of Nancy Pelosi (CA-12) and Steny Hoyer (MD-05) demanding a Green New Deal in the final days of the Congressional session.
Tell these leaders we need a #GreenNewDeal --> comment "sign" to add your voice to the petition quickly and tweet, call, or sign here: bit.ly/dems-need-a-climate-plan "
